“ Be Ambitious, be a Plonker “

So, what does this even mean? It means, don’t be afraid to dream big in life and go after those dreams. Even from a young age, we are very creative beings with imaginations that go beyond the sky, so why let the smallest of things get in our way? However, as you embark on your own ambitious journey, don’t let it consume you of everything. Remember to be a plonker from time to time. Have fun and laugh with your family and friends, that infectious feeling of happiness and excitement should never be forgotten. And there you have it, now go out there and give it your best shot! 

 

Our Vision

The whole idea behind The Ambitious Plonker Book Club, is to not only bring books into the world for children, teens, and adults to read, laugh and enjoy, but to also help inspire all that read these books, to become better versions of themselves. Especially for adults who can read to their own young children and encourage them to the absolute best version they can be. Even if we can help inspire the smallest group of people, we will be happy. Otherwise, hopefully we can also create a book for you to just read and enjoy. 

 

Our Books, Why Books

So, why books might you ask? Well, we should never underestimate the power of a book.

Reading books either by yourself or with someone else can be so beneficial, even in the simplest of ways you don’t even realise it.  

Reading to yourself can help: 

·         Enhances your imagination  

·         Motivation and self-belief  

·         Exercise the brain  

·         Improve your memory and focus  

·         Increase your general knowledge  

 

Reading to your children can help them: 

·         Create new bonds 

·         Become self-confident  

·         Improve logical thinking skills 

·         Develop communication skills 

·         Bring out their creative inspirations 

The list is endless. Yet in this new, tech savvy, social media era that we are leading towards, people are forgetting the power and purpose of an actual book. That is why we believe that before our children are introduced to the new tech world, reading, is the best time to create lots of special bonds and can help try and encourage them into becoming the best version of themselves.

Our Story So Far

Our ideas are only in the early stages of life, but with your help and support, hopefully we can continue to grow and provide not only more books, but more content, value and meaning. We aim to bring out several books in different series, each with meaningful messages. The first wave of books we intend to release, is marketed to young children, however, we do hope in time, to reach out to a most vast audience, but for now, as the saying goes, “ Rome wasn’t built in a day. “
